*Tentative* Last Day of the Season

As the vibrant foliage fades and the last apples find their way onto our shelves, we anticipate bidding farewell to the 2023 season, with our tentative closing date set for the day before Thanksgiving, or possibly even earlier, following the patterns of previous years.

Medina County Fall Foliage Tour

Since 1968, the drive-it-yourself Medina County Fall Foliage Tour has educated the participating general public about agriculture, education, and history of Medina County. Each year, the tour highlights 10-15 places of interest that can include farms, agribusinesses, historical societies, and special events – among others.

Although we won't be officially on the tour this year, feel free to visit us and explore our bountiful offerings. Please note that our fields and orchard will be closed for pick-your-own, but our store will be in full operation with an abundance of seasonal delights.

Andrew Geig Harvest Festival

Mark your calendars for a meaningful day of giving back at Geig's Orchard as we proudly present the fourth annual Andrew Geig Harvest Festival on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Join us for an inspiring event featuring a themed basket auction, exciting large ticket prizes, delectable food vendors, the first day of pick your own apples of the season, hayrides and an array of family-friendly activities.

This festival holds a special place in our hearts as we remember our beloved son, Andrew, who courageously battled cancer. In his honor, we have established this event to support various causes close to our hearts. The proceeds raised will contribute to college scholarship funds, cancer research foundations, and local charities, providing assistance to families in need. Together, let's make a positive impact and create lasting change in our community.

We are happy to announce we are now a donor advised fund for our Andrew Geig Harvest Fest. We have created the “Andrew Geig Memorial Fund under the Akron Community Foundation”. They are a 501(c)3 charity that manages funds like ours. All of our proceeds from this years festival will go to this fund and then be granted to the Andrew Geig Scholarship Fund at Cloverleaf, Cleveland Clinic Velosano Cancer Research and the Ronald McDonald House of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. If you would like to donate, please follow the link below.
