U-pick Blackberries
Our blackberry patch opens in mid-July, and we’re excited to welcome guests for pick-your-own blackberries.
Come out to the farm, stop in the market when you arrive, and we’ll get you set up for picking. Blackberries are fresh, sweet, and best enjoyed right from the patch.
U-pick blackberries will be available on select weekdays and weekends during the season, depending on weather and crop availability.
No admission ticket needed. Purchase picking containers in the market the day of your visit.

U-pick blackberries are $6.50 per pound. A $2 Geig’s Orchard bucket is required for picking. Additional containers may be borrowed if needed.

Honeycrisp Sip & Pick
A limited evening orchard experience built around one of the most anticipated apples of the season. Guests will enjoy golden hour among the trees, pick Honeycrisp apples, relax by the bonfires, listen to live acoustic music, and experience the orchard in a slower, cozier way.
Each ticket includes a guided Honeycrisp picking experience, ½ peck of Honeycrisp apples, one apple cider donut, live music, bonfires, lawn games, and access to our Golden Hour orchard gathering areas.
Planted Flag Brewing will be on site serving hard cider made with Geig’s Orchard’s award-winning apple cider, transformed into Ohio’s #1 rated hard cider. A local food truck, orchard treats, and seasonal market favorites will also be available during the event.
Guests can also reserve the Date Night Add On during checkout, which includes one pre prepared charcuterie board for two people to share during the evening. Quantities are limited and must be reserved in advance.
Pre-purchased tickets are required for this event. Tickets will not be sold the day of the event on site.

When purchasing tickets, you must select an arrival time window. Available time slots are 5:30 PM, 6:00 PM, 6:30 PM, and 7:00 PM, with limited tickets available for each time.
Your selected time is your Honeycrisp picking demonstration time. These time slots help us spread guests throughout the evening and create a better picking experience for everyone.
After check-in and the picking demonstration, you are welcome to stay and enjoy live music, bonfires, food, drinks, lawn games, and the orchard for the rest of the evening.

This event takes place outdoors on a working farm. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
Guests should expect grass, gravel, uneven ground, natural orchard terrain, and lower light conditions as the evening progresses.
Please arrive during your selected time window. Time slots are limited and help us create a better Honeycrisp picking experience for everyone.
Hard cider, food truck items, orchard treats, seasonal favorites, and market items will be available for purchase.
If weather or orchard conditions make the event unsafe, Geig’s Orchard may reschedule or cancel the event. Guests will be contacted with next steps.

Andrew Geig Harvest Festival
Mark your calendars for a meaningful day of giving back at Geig's Orchard as we proudly present the seventh annual Andrew Geig Harvest Festival on Saturday, September 26 2026. Join us for an inspiring event featuring a themed basket auction, exciting large ticket prizes, delectable food vendors, the first day of pick your own apples of the season, hayrides and an array of family-friendly activities.
This festival holds a special place in our hearts as we remember our beloved son, brother, and friend, Andrew, who courageously battled cancer. In his honor, we have established this event to support various causes close to our hearts. The proceeds raised will contribute to college scholarship funds for local high school seniors, cancer research foundations, and local charities, providing assistance to families in need. Together, let's make a positive impact and create lasting change in our community.

We are happy to announce we are now a donor advised fund for our Andrew Geig Harvest Fest. We have created the “Andrew Geig Memorial Fund under the Akron Community Foundation”. They are a 501(c)3 charity that manages funds like ours. All of our proceeds from this years festival will go to this fund and then be granted to the Andrew Geig Scholarship Fund at Cloverleaf, Cleveland Clinic Velosano Cancer Research, Stewart’s Caring Place and Buck Cares.

Orchard Yoga
A peaceful morning yoga class in the orchard to kick off our first pick your own apples day. Enjoy a 60-minute gentle flow led by certified instructor Audrey Patterson, followed by a scenic walk through the trees and a ½-peck bag of apples to pick and take home.
All levels are welcome, and beginners are encouraged. Please bring a yoga mat, water, and anything you like to use for your practice.
Be sure to bring your own mat, towel for underneath (in case grass is wet), sunscreen, hat, and any props you would like to use.

Celebrate fall at Geig’s Orchard with a trip to the pumpkin patch. Enjoy a family friendly day on the farm with pumpkins, hayrides, cider, seasonal treats, photo opportunities, and fun around the orchard.
Our pumpkin patch will be open during select fall weekends, with a featured pumpkin weekend planned for October 10 and 11. It’s a great time to visit for pumpkins, fall treats, and classic October fun.
No admission tickets are needed. Pumpkins can be purchased day of during your visit.

Holiday Ornament Hunt
